When setting up a U3A, the Configuration Apps should be used in the order indicated.
U3A Configuration Apps
- Options Configuration options to set the operation of MyU3A to conform to the requirements of the U3A.
These cover General Options, Membership Options, Class Options and Next Year Options.
Next Year options include a myriad ways of handling preferential enrolment at the start of the academic year.
There are also several basic configuration options that are set by the Volunteer Support Team member when the U3A is being first set up.
- Term Calendar enables a term or semester structure to be set up detailing start and end dates and public holidays, thereby enabling time slots for classes to be defined and controlled.
- Course Categories Enables categorisation of courses to be customised in the way the U3A requires.
Contains automatic translation to the categories requested in reports to Network Victoria.
- Member Types Enables the membership types used by the U3A to be defined.
- Member Fees Enables the fee structure to be set for the U3A.
- Volunteers Enables the volunteer categories used by the U3A to be defined.
- Leaders Enables the titles of leader types to be defined for the U3A.
